Auckland Museum is a standout institution both within New Zealand, the Pacific and internationally. A few years back in 2010 the museum was in trouble but right now they have a right to a claim to be amongst the leaders of the pack in their field. When they were refurbishing their museum the staff ran a blog to keep their community informed and engaged – they unknowingly were setting the pace that other are yet to catch up with. The BLOG has grown up to become a dynamic part of the institutions public face and the starting point for all kinds of community activity.
