ecoCULTURE and 'The Forest'

ecoartnotebook is where Cathy Fitzgerald writes about eco-art works that inspire her and that hopefully will inspire others.

This site also documents a SLOW ART project. It's an ongoing diary in images, short films; detailing the transformation of a small monoculture conifer plantation in IRELAND into an ecologically & economically, permanent real FOREST.

In Cathy Fitzgerald's art practice she's interested in how we represent NATURE on FILM - is it possible to create films that convey a more ECOCENTRIC, empathic world view, re-examining how we connect and experience what's around us near at hand and further away

Let's imagine this as DIGITALmusing! Let Museums and art galleries engage more in DIGITALmusing.
